The concert hall for chamber music stands in the center of Yerevan, confined by the Circular Boulevard. Here concerts of organ music and recitals are held. The music hall was built in 1978 (architect: Stepan Kyurkchyan). It named in honor of Komitas, a.k.a Soghomon Soghomonyan. The building of the theatre is famous for its original combination of ancient outline and modern architectural form. Excellent acoustics, selected works of famous musicians wonderfully performed by outstanding musicians will help you to appreciate the wealth of Armenian culture.
Many distinguished figures of Armenian and international music have performed on the stage of Komitas Chamber Music Hall. International musical festivals are regularly held here as well.
